I have been 'Pushing Through Life' with an L2 level of spinal cord injury and showing the world that there is more to life than just my injury. | I started this blog from the frustration of how little info there is for manual wheelchair users going bush. This is not a know-all-see-all information site, but rather a collection of trip reports giving a sense of what worked for me.

| Once upon a time, "Adaptive Kayaking/Canoeing" meant foam, duct tape and a super-stable kayak (which generally means it is as wide as it is long). The support was minimal, the set-up took hours and the paddling was more work than fun. We're doing our best to change all of that by designing paddling gear that gives all people the ability to get out on the water - seating, paddles, outriggers, etc. |
