| One-Off is pleased to announce that we have begun production of our all terrain hand cycle. This is the first hand cycle to bridge the gap between today's road only hand cycles and the chair-lift dependent downhill racers. With bicycle cranks for propulsion and a steering similar to the downhill racers, this vehicle can climb Mt. Snow and descend at speed with safety. We have achieved our prime goal of developing an arm-powered vehicle that is analogous to the modern mountain bike. And don't forget, a mountain bike with street tires is a great road bike. |

These are the most difficult and demanding applications for mechanical shifting. If it can work on a handcycle, it can work anywhere!! |

| After his injury, Cole Hoodicoff never expected to be able to rip down a rugged mountain trail. That all changed when SCI BC Kootenays Peer Coordinator Josh Dueck invited the Castlegar teenager to a mountain bike camp.
Cole Hoodicoff had been down some hills in his 18 years. Down the Red Mountain ski hill that left him a T2 paraplegic at 11 years old. Down the rocky road of adjusting to teenage life with an SCI in small town BC.
Hoodicoff wasn’t thinking about any of that on a rainy day this past July, when he edged his way over the lip of the Spine, BC’s first purpose-built adaptive mountain-bike (aMTB) trail. Read on for more...
He had been invited to try adaptive mountain biking with a small group of SCI BC Peers. While he’d seen plenty of regular mountain biking videos of riders ripping down trails on two wheels with precision and style, he imagined that what he was about to try would be something much tamer.

| The trail has been designed for beginners and is focused on being "Adaptive Sports Accessible" where mountain hand trikes can be used by disabled riders. This trail offers many different challenges for a beginner to get introduced to trail riding: Short 1.1 mile loop allowing for many laps to practice, moderate switchback descents & climbs, a bermed turn, very subdued rock gardens, a short bridge crossing, etc(See trail photos). Minimal elevation change - total ascent per lap is 65ft. |

The Tourism Associations and the Resort Industries have been very supportive of lift assisted mountain bike park growth. These lift assisted bike parks are now everywhere on the planet.The riding style is an insane combination of Dh mountain biking, rally car driving, high-end off road truck racing, and of course motocross/supercross. The sport is available to all people who enjoy openwheel, fourwheel, offroad riding and racing action!
