| Pharaoh Dive Club in Egypt offer FREE Deptherapy Specially Adapted Scuba Diving programmes for seriously injured armed service people from any nation.
Deptherapy work with programme members to introduce them to the aquatic realm, firstly in the pool and then in open water under the supervision of specially qualified instructional teams. Many go on the meet the full PADI certification.
The program is especially beneficial to those suffering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury as well as the more obvious injured.
It has many proven benefits for the troops which is supported by those in academic research. |
| Disabled Divers International (DDI) is a not-for-profit organization, with the aim to promote, develop and conduct disabled scuba diving training programs for professional and non-professional students. All board members are volunteers, dedicated to promoting and developing disabled scuba diving internationally.
Since its introduction in 2010, DDI has gathered extensive support and recognition within the diving industry and conducted both professional and non-professional programs all around the world. DDI professionals and DDI dive centers can now be found in 58 countries with more on the way, enabling disabled diving world wide.

What began in 2003 as a social club for divers is now a non-profit foundation that teaches, equips and takes disabled people on life changing scuba diving adventures. |

| The RAIDaptive program was designed to bring the sport of diving to persons with disabilities by adapting the RAID Open Water 20 course to the abilities demonstrated by the diver with disabilities. The RAIDAptive Course is designed to teach individuals with disabilities to become certified divers with the goal of using certified RAIDaptive Dive Buddies to compensate for those skills that they cannot independently perform. The student will be certified according to the following Designations:
Designation 1- The student must be able to perform all skills independently with the exception of Entries and Exits
Designation 2 - The student must be able to perform all skills independently with the exception of Entries, Exits, Emergency Ascents, Maintaining Positive Buoyancy at the surface by oral inflation of the BCD
Designation 3 - The student must be able to breathe continuously and monitor gas supply. The student will require assistance with all other aspects of diving.
To become a certified RAIDaptive Open Water diver, the students need to have basic swimming skills, be comfortable in the water, and should be in a good overall health, have a mature attitude, sound judgement and self-discipline to follow the guidelines that they will be taught for safe diving.

| The Scuba Gym Australia was born out of a desire to enable lasting change for people with special needs or disabilities. After watching the video below, I knew I had to create a Scuba Gym in Australia and so partnered with David to make it happen. |
| We are launching on the 4th September and provide Scuba Therapy™ and rehabilitation for the benefit of military veterans, people living with disabilities, and other special needs groups for the purposes of social interaction, life enrichment, and rehabilitation. We also teach adaptive scuba diving for amputees, those with PTSD and spinal injuries. |
